Virgin Media Business Gives Back with OneADay

#OneADay: Virgin Media Business is offering free consultations on Cybersecurity, Online Sales through Connectivity and Adapting to Home Working to support the Irish business community during Covid-19.

The Irish business community has been hit hard by the effects of Covid-19 social distancing measures. Therefore, the OneADay initiative has been developed to help support Irish businesses during these unprecedented times. This collaborative initiative encourages Irish businesses and individuals to lend a helping hand to one another during Covid-19 by offering free services, advice, information or support. OneADay is inspired by the idea that in coming together and giving 1% to a cause, our collective efforts can have a huge impact.

Virgin Media Business’s OneADay

To support the Irish business community, Virgin Media Business has allocated 1 hour per day for 3 weeks to the OneADay initiative in order to reach as many companies as possible. We will be putting forward a panel of experts to discuss the topics of cybersecurity, online sales through connectivity and adapting to home working.

In our first week, we will focus on the area of Cybersecurity. This is aimed at any business who wishes to avoid potential impacts to their business reputation and finances as a result of websites/ servers being down. This topic will also look at mitigating the risk of compromised or lost data.

Week two will explore Online Sales through Connectivity. The correct connectivity blend can ensure that your business never misses a customer query and can also help you stay connected to you customers.

Our third and final week will present insights into Adapting to Home Working. Having a flexible workforce means being physically and technologically prepared for your employees to be working remotely.
